This has been a long time coming, but Megawatch, as usual, has its finger on the pulse. Watch the money.

Today on Megawatch we are talking: Renraku. Renraku has been showing record profits this past quarter. Renraku has been showing steady improvement in its production in cyberdecks, bleeding edge IC, matrix technologies, and software. This mega has actually been closing on Fuchi as the second largest megacorp in the world, led only by Saeder-Krupp. Especially since Fuchi also specializes in cyberdecks and matrix technology this has been causing a great deal of shadow activity and friction between the two megas. But in just the last month, with Miles Lanier going from Fuchi to Renraku and taking all the security secrets with him, the hostilities have never been hotter. Is Miles Lanier Renraku's secret weapon, or something more going on? Even before the sudden change Renraku had been creating better and better matrix tech: adaptive IC, and what appeared to be impregnable matrix hosts had begun Renraku's climb possibly more than a year ago.

Fuchi and Renraku aren't the only kids in the pool fueding; Ares and smaller mega from Quebec called Cross Applied Technologies have been taking all kinds of pot shots at each other. In fact I heard Damien Knight of Ares tried to have Lucien Cross of Cross Applied, assassinated. Except that one of Cross's Seraphim were willing to eat a bullet for him. The Seraphim are Cross's elite intel gathering group, and shadowy enforcers. They're known for being the best at what they do.

The Saraphim are the best at what they do. The Red Samaurai are the best at what they do. Fuchi and Aries security elite are the best at what they do. Lets have them all throw down on a new reality trid show! I'd watch that. Oh wait. That's what their doing now. It's just not being aired prime-time. Nevermind.

Except that the Seraphim, though black ops and badass are primarily focused on covert spying and intellegence gathering; that's their stock in trade. The Red Samurai are more known for their hoop-kicking, and single-minded lethality. Knight Errant is a security company and are therefore less known for being lethal, and have alot more PR on their side.. Their ad campaigns are focused more on showing them as "chivalrous knights" guarding the common man and all that drek. So even though they are all in security in some way, they do have different specialties. Fuchi's security aren't really known for anything in particular, or have a special moniker that I'm aware of. Aztechnology has Jaguar Knights though. And Mitsuhama is known for "zero tolerance" and heavy use in automated weapons.
