Falling Man Interrupts Rally

Arthur Vogel's politcal rally was interrupted today by a man falling from the rafters of the Superdome, apparently having been shot in the head. Onlookers had no idea that anything was amiss until the body came plummeting down.

"Oh my drek! That was scary! I've never seen a dead guy before, especially not a flying dead guy!"

Lonestar officers have identified the 27 year old elf as Alan Riv a suspected member of the eco-terrorist group "Terra First!" but are baffled as to the man having been there in the first place.

"The bullet in his head was professional. Whoever did it used some high caliber bullets and the shot was clean, but we can't say if we have any leads on the murder at this time." commented one officer.

Arthur Vogel expressed his sorrow at the tragic death of the young man but reaffirmed that despite the strangeness of the situation it will not break his stride on the campaign trail.
