I would vote for
I would vote for
- Spoiler:
- Dunkelzahn because he's a DRAGON and he asked nice and i would rather not be good with a side of fries
Re: If you had a SIN
Yeah I'd vote for Roz Hernandez. Mostly cause I wanna see what kind of weird drek she'd pull if she were prez. I mean, the Illuminates of the New Dawn have been rumored to be trying to take over the world forever. What kinda MOJO they gonna pull with their great exalted Grandmaster or whatever being head of the ol UCAS? I dunno, but I think it would be quite a show.

I would vote for Franklin Yeats, because I would like to see some one win posthumously.

That makes about as much sense as anything in an electoral process best-known for its longstanding tradition of sociopolitical buggery.
Yet another reason I remain proud to not-be a citizen.

He's all about the enviornment, and I like the world, it's where i keep all my stuff
And he's all about meta-human rights, and hey in my book people are people

long view
Two things I hate about politics. Shortsightedness and hidden motives.
Honestly, what's the point of saving 5 people today when that action knowingly dooms 100 people tomorrow? Sure the loss of 5 savable people is tragic but that's why I vote for someone to make the hard choices.
Why is there so much lying in politics? Because politicians know they wouldn't get popular support if they told the truth. Why shouldn't there be any lying in politics? Because if your view can't stand up to public scrutiny then you deserve to be shot down as the hypocrite you are. Yes, there are hard choices to be made and yes, that's going to upset a lot of people. There are no perfect solutions just least bad compromises that minimize badness for most. The problem with all the spin doctoring is it then becomes impossible to determine who is trying to get the best outcome for the most people and who is trying to get the best short term outcome for themselves.
So, who do I think will have longest view and the fewest hidden agendas? The dragon. I don't even agree with him on most issues but it's worth it to cut the BS and get more public discussions on what's really happening with the world.
