A bad trip

A friend of mine had a run in with drug called Laés and basically has a hole in her memory. Any one know if the effect is permanent and if there are any other long term effects to be on the watch for?

Any information on Laés would be helpful.

What a horrid practical joke! Take care not to let your mate get drugs from that person again.
I can dig a little further but word on the boards is that stuff'll frag up your meat mem no prob....like non defragable fragged...irrecoverable.
Other than the permanent 404 error in your head, no bad stuff and a good way to loose a few hours.

Laés
Vector: Injection

Developed by the government of Tir Tairngire, laés erases short-term memories in a retrograde fashion, beginning the moment the drug is injected and flowing backward. Subjects also fall unconscious. Laés is used by the Tir to memory-wipe border infiltrators, who are dumped outside the nation.

To date nothing in the fields of medicine or magic has been shown to recover memories erased by laés, as the drug changes the chemical structure of the memory neurons.
